Wet Applying Vinyl To A Curved Surface

Prepare your curved surface by wiping it with rubbing alcohol and allowing it to dry completely.

If you re applying your sticker to a wet surface use your fingers to push and adjust the edges of the vinyl to your desired position. This instructable will use a skateboard deck as the example surface but the technique can be used for a variety of applications. When it is in place use a piece of painter s tape to attach the vinyl to the surface from top to bottom across its middle. Secure the vinyl to the surface with tape.

Cricut vinyl on mugs. If you re applying your sticker to a dry surface make sure that it s positioned and angled properly. Once the vinyl is in place you won t be able to adjust it easily. Position your design in place on the surface.

If you don t have any rubbing alcohol then simply give it a good hot wash. Using a few simple tools and techniques can make this a much easier process.
